Tamar Estuary River Health Action Plan (TERHAP) Project
This project will increase the amount of bulk water storage in Whitemark by increasing the height of Henderson Dam. This will improve the security of drinking water on the island.
The Turriff Lodge Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) treats sewage from the town of New Norfolk and is included in the top 20 Tasmanian STPs in need of an upgrade. Reflecting TasWater’s commitment to upgrade existing water and sewerage infrastructure across Tasmania, the Turriff Lodge STP is being modified to change the current outfall configuration.
